We'll bring our expertise to you with the CAPE Rolling Test Laboratory. Our experienced engineers and test technicians have conducted field tests in remote locations around the world.

CAPE meets your testing needs with technical expertise and flexibility. Through years of experience, we have developed efficient testing methodology, which can be applied to a wide variety of vehicles to document vehicle performance and occupant comfort. CAPE is ready to support you with test management and data acquisition tailored to your unique vehicle evaluation needs.

Our rugged, portable equipment records accurate data via technologically advanced instrumentation tools, including:

• 32 channel portable data acquisition system
• 16 channel portable data acquisition system
• Dynamic measurement units for vehicle pitch, yaw and roll position and rate measurements
• Optical encoders, rotary potentiometers and linear potentiometers for component displacement versus time measurement
• Vehicle speed transducer with optical encoder
• Accelerometers (2g, 4g, 50g, 100g, 200g, 750g and 2000g)
• Custom seat belt load cells for comfort evaluation
• Standard seat belt webbing load cells
• Digital cameras and video for documentation
• CAPE field equipment includes DIAdem data analysis software with the capability of wireless Ethernet communication for data download. This allows for data graphing in the field and delivery at the time of the test.

Our rolling test laboratory team works with laptop computers, portable printers and CD writers to provide preliminary test data to our customers as quickly as possible.
